My friend Lora and I used to work at a dead end job (which shall remain nameless) together back in high school. This is one of those stories where you write a page, then the next person writes a page and so on. I just recently read this again and died.

Weaving purses is actually really relaxing and it's nice to be able to carry around something that you made. I learned how to weave purses using my own homemade cardboard loom in craft class last year. I started weaving in the winter then forgot about it once the weather got warmer (who wants to stay in and weave when you could be outside?!) Now it's getting cold again so project weave is back on! These are some of the purses I've done, though they don't look great in the picture. I started making coin purses too (pictured bottom left of collage).

After a trip to the skatepark I decided I want to take up skateboarding. I remember riding around in 7th grade on my snoopy board that my parents bought from a yard sale. Since it's a "guy sport" I've always been too afraid to try. Now it's time to change that.

Day 1: Learned to drop into the little half pipe thing (got it on my second try! ..but screamed like a little girl..)
Day 2: Learned how to make turns and navigate while going down hills. Random old dude in a car gave me the thumbs up.
Day 3: Learned how to ollie.. took me about 20 minutes to get it. The board only goes about 2 cm off the ground but the point is that it left the ground. Got harrassed by little boys down the street who decided it'd be fun to hide behind a tree and yell at me then run away.
Day 4: It's sunday.. so that's my excuse for not doing shit. Plus I was working on my car.

N00b status

It's official... My first blog post! I decided I only want to add new photos since it seems like all I ever do is sort through old ones. This is sort of a weird post for my first one but these happen to be the most recent photos I have. I just became obsessed with these little color light rings I got off ebay and still have yet to actually use. They don't really serve a purpose anyway but they were 99 cents and I love getting things in the mail.

Was I having a little too much fun? Probably. None of these pictures are editted at all.. this is just the result of being up at 3am listening to EDM
